In a pre-season game against the Houston Rockets on October 7, Spurs guard Dejounte Murray tore his right ACL driving against James Harden. He fell to the ground, but was able to stand up and walk himself to the locker room. It is most likely that he will be out the entire season, as ACL reconstruction and rehabilitation takes around a year. In a tweet, Murray thanked people for support and said he's "been beating the odds and handling adversity" throughout his life.
